Summer is just about done. The cabin is more than habitable and I have a new batch of songs for the pickin this Fall. The working title for the new release is 'Cabin on the Hill". It's stuck with me and it keeps coming back to it like a bad check or a good song. What's up in that Cabin on the Hill? That will be up to the listener.
In between road work I'll begin tracking some of the new tunes. Your assistance is greatly appreciated these days as I am without a label or backing of any sort. Im hoping to get this project out and in your paws by the Holidays. I've added some donation links or if you'd like to grab something off the merch page to help out here is the link.
On the gig front we had a excellent show at the White Horse in Black Mountain, NC. A great turnout despite weather and a weekday, Ralph E White opened the show and came back out for a little improvisation on songs like Slow Drunken Waltz and Troubadour Blues. We hope to make a few more of these happen over the course of the Fall.
Look for me to perform some more East Coast Shows before I head out to the Midwest this October/November.
I appreciate your support and interest in my songs and stories. I'm grateful to do what I love for a living and to meet each and every one of you.
